Born in Aotearoa/New Zealand and now based in Naarm/Melbourne, Sam Gan is a Production Designer/Set-Dresser/Stylist (and part-time painter) working across Film, TVC, music videos and stills.

 

At 21, she started her journey at Ogilvy and Mather as a Stylist and built her skillset in styling homewares, fashion as well as food. She later on skipped across the ditch where she picked up her love for Production Design.

 

She has worked with the likes of The Jungle Giants, Flowerkid and Parvyn's "What You See" MV was nominated for Best Production Design in the Made in the West Film Festival 2021. Sam's advertising clientele includes Manscaped, Platypus, ANZ, Square, Nike, Specsavers and ATOMOS.

 

Sam loves to inject her own stylistic flair and applies both her advertising and film background with every project. Storytelling plays an invaluable role in her creative process and she is always seeking ways to push the traditional boundaries.
